Circa 2002
I think I'm fourteen years old in this photo. This was at my big sister Ly's graduation from Mills college in Oakland, Ca. I remember being so happy because this meant Ly was moving back to Pomona and she was going to live with us. She helped all of us kids paint our bedrooms and I thought that was so cool. I really admired my big sister, she was definitely a huge influence on my life.

I remember riding back from the Oakland in this rented mini-van with all of her stuff and one of her friends rode with us. I still remember the smell. It was nice having her back for a little while.
